Masala Baked Chicken Wings Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg chicken wings (22 pieces)
- half lemon juice
- 1-1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- oil for frying
DIRECTIONS:
- Make two slits on both sides of each chicken wings. Don't cut too deep. This will help the seasonings penetrate the chicken.
- Once all the chicken wings are prepared squeeze half of the lemon on the chicken wings.
- Then add all seasoning except cornstarch and flour. Mix everything well together.
- Marinate at least 4 hours minutes.
- After that add cornstarch, pain flour and mix well. This will create a coating for the chicken keeping it crisp after frying.
- Place on a baking tray with a rack and spray with oil. Bake in the oven over 250C for 25-30 minutes or util the top is golden and has a nice char.
- Remove from the oven and flip each chicken wings to gook the other side.
- Place back in the oven for another 10-20 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
- And you're done, serve warm with bbq sauce.
