Yesterday me and my sister had fun cooking in the chicken, so we want to share with you how we made these delicious dish. It's really easy to make and it only took us 30 minutes to prepare. So, here is the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Chicken mixture:
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 fresh tomato, chopped
- 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (1 medium bell pepper)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1-1/2 cups of tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1-1/2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast meat
- 1 triangle cheese (processed cheese)
- 2 cups fusilli or pennete pasta (or any small pasta)
White Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (or any Italian cheese)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook until just tender, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Drain pasta into a large mixing bowl.

Chicken mixture:
Meanwhile, put the olive oil in a medium saute pan over medium heat. Add onions, garlic and cook for 3 minutes until soft. Add bell peppers, mushrooms, diced tomato, chicken and cook for about 5 minutes more. Then combine the remaining ingredients: tomato sauce, ketchup, vinegar, triangle cheese, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir all together for about 3 minutes. Put the chicken mixture into the bowl with the cooked pasta and set aside.
White sauce:
Melt the butter in another saucepan and then add the flour. Stir continuously until a paste forms. Continue cooking for 2 minutes. Then add milk gradually, stirring as you go, until you get a smooth sauce. Cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring continuously, until the sauce has thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.
