INGRIDIENTS:
- 500 g eggplant
- 4 tbs gram flour
- 1/2 tps salt
- 1/2 tps red chili powder
- 1/2 tps garam masala
- 1/4 tps cumin (zeera)
- water
- 1/2 l frying oil
- 1/2 sliced lemon
DIRECTIONS:
- In a bowl add gram flour, red chili, garam masala and cumin. Mix well with water, making a medium to thick consistency and set aside.
- Slice eggplant into 1 cm width then transfer in a bowl. Scrub lemon on each side of the sliced eggplants without squeezing. Take a pinch of salt and red chili powder and scrub onto the eggplants to add flavor. Marinate for a while (3-5 min).
- In a pot add oil and set fire to high. Deep the sliced eggplant in the flour mixture then fry until dark brown and crispy.
