Nutella & Banana French Toast Roll-ups Recipe | Breakfast ideas


Nutella French Toast Roll-ups an easy and great recipe to recreate on those special mornings where you just want a fancy and delicious breakfast!

Hhhmmm nutellaaa how can one not love it?!
Really, you can't deny that it's rich creamy and full of deliciousness... I know it's not an everyday thing but if it's once in a while I think it's totally fine.

French toast + Nutella + Banana + Cinnamon = WOW!!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 slices of bread 
  • nutella
  • 1 banana
DIRECTIONS:
  1. In a shallow dish, combine the sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Set aside;
  2. In a bowl, whisk the egg and milk until combined. Set aside;
  3. Slice the banana. Set aside;
  4. Cut the crusts from the slices of bread (discard the crusts or eat them);
  5. Roll each slice of bread with a rolling pin;
  6. Spread nutella on 1/3 of each slice of flattened bread. Then top with 3 slices of banana;
  7. Roll the bread up tightly, sealing shut with a dab of nutella;
  8. Heat some butter in a skillet or frying pan. Dip each roll in the egg mixture until coated and place in the hot skillet;
  9. Cook rolls turning around 1-2 minutes until golden brown; 
  10. Remove from the pan and coat immediately with cinnamon sugar mixture;
  11. Serve and enjoy!
