Banana Pancake Recipe | Healthy Breakfast Ideas


Hi guys, here's another great easy and healthy breakfast recipe for you.

If you're tired of the old style pancakes you can try this recipe it's delicious, fluffy plus it's gluten-free! Not kidding you this pancake is made out of just 4 ingredients (banana, egg, chia seeds and cinnamon)... isn't that great!

The only down point of this recipe is the hard time to flip the banana pancake as it's really soft and delicate. So, I suggest you to be really careful and use two spatula if needed (once you get the hang of it it becomes easier!).

Banana Pancake Recipe

Prep Time: 3 min
Cook Time: 10 min
Serves: 1-2

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 banana
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (extra for topping)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • maple syrup
DIRECTIONS:
  1. In a bowl mash the banana;
  2. Then add eggs, chia seeds and cinnamon. Mix well;
  3. Grease a nonstick pan with olive oil;
  4. Place about 1/4 cup pancake batter on the pan and cook on low-medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip pancake and cook for another 30 seconds;
  5. Repeat process with the remaining batter;
  6. Transfer to a platter and create a pancake stack;
  7. Top with slices of banana, drizzle of maple syrup and sprinkle of chia seeds!
