Sweet Chili Sauce | Samosa Sauce


Hello Hungries! As promised here's the Sweet Chili Sauce to served with your tasty samosas!
It's super easy and super yummy you wont regret making it! So here's the recipe.


Sweet Chili Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar 
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, ground
  • 1-1/2 tsp tamarind puree
  • 1/2 tsp red food coloring
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
DIRECTIONS:
  1. In a pan over high heat add 2 cups of water and sugar. 
  2. Once the sugar is completely dissolved add in salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, tamarind puree and red food coloring. Then bring to a boil. 
  3. To give it a little bit of thickness mix cornstarch with water then add it in the sauce. 
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened up. 
  5. With a spoon remove some of the big chunks of the tamarind puree and turn off heat.
  6. Let cool and transfer to in a jar.
  7. Serve cold or hot with samosas or any fries.
