Hi guys here's another easy and delicious Ramadan Recipe!
For today's recipe I've got for you this Chocolate covered Stuffed dates... It's a healthy sweet which you can enjoy during Iftar time. It's also a perfect snack for an immediate burst of energy specially after many hours of fasting.
So, here's how I made it!
INGREDIENTS:
- 10 medjool dates, pitted
- 10 almonds, toasted and salted
- 80g dark chocolate (make sure it's at least 70% pure cocoa)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- chopped pistachio, as required
- chopped cashew, as required
- desiccated coconut, as required
- Start of by slicing open each dates in half and removing the seeds.
- Stuff each date with one toasted almond and squeeze them shut as best as you can.
- After that secure the opening of the dates with a toothpick this will make it easy to dip them in the chocolate afterwards.
- Then prepare chocolate sauce. Break the chocolate bar into chunks and place them in a bowl then add a tsp of coconut oil. Then let the chocolate melt in the microwave for about 1 minute.
- Once it's melt start dipping the stuffed dates in the chocolate sauce. Dip one date at a time then place it in a piece of a parchment paper
- Then top with desiccated coconut, chopped pistachio and cashew.
