Assalamu Alaykum everyone! I hope you've passed a wonderful Eid! :)
Today I'm going to share with you guys this super easy Chicken Sandwich! It's a perfect snack for picnic plus it's super yummy!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup chicken, boiled and shredded
- half of an onion, chopped
- 3 cucumber pickles, chopped
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 sottilette cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp sugar
- half of big roasted bell pepper cut into strips
- sandwich bread (2 slices or as needed)
DIRECTIONS:
How to roast bell pepper:
- Burn bell pepper directly on the flame.
- Cook until the skin is completely black and burned.
- Once it's done transfer in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for at least 20 minutes.
- After that remove the skin of the bell pepper with fingers or with the back of a knife.
- Cut bell pepper in half and then cut each half into strips.
How to prepare chicken sandwich:
- In a bowl add and mix all ingredients except roasted bell pepper and and sandwich bread.
- Next evenly spread chicken mixture on top of a slice of bread.
- Top with roasted bell pepper.
- Top with the other slice of bread.
- Wrap sandwich in plastic wrap so that no air goes in.
- Refrigerate sandwich for at least 8 hours.
- Enjoy cold!
